Diabetes Treatment

Our practice specializes in both diabetes treatment, education and intensive diabetes management including diabetes medicine and insulin therapy. We will help you identify the tools you can use to help lower your blood sugars and prevent complications from your diabetes. We will educate you on options and help you individualize your own diabetes self-management plan. Our goal is to help you reach your optimal health!

Our health care provider and prescriber, Dustin Forrest, is a Family Nurse Practitioner (APRN), Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE), that specializes in diabetes with a focus on metabolic syndrome and individualized medically supervised weight loss. Metabolic syndrome typically consists of elevated blood sugars, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and a large waist circumference related to being significantly overweight. Dustin Forrest, APRN, CDE is accepting new patients specializing in diabetes. We also do telehealth visits via telephone or computer.

Our dietitian and diabetes educator, Marie Veselsky, is a licensed Registered Dietitian (RD), Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE), who is also board certified in advanced diabetes management (BC-ADM) with over 20 years in diabetes practice.
